Streptomyces candidus Y21007-2 is original from Taiwan, we found the fermentation broth of S. cadidus Y21007-2 can release multiple metabolites, one of the key metabolite is Borrelidin which can disintegrates the cell wall of pathogenic fungi to achieve antibacterial function, especially against the disease caused by Phytophthora spp. It can also be used as an antifungal agent to prevent spoilage of crops after harvesting.
